NebuAd is being sued for violating users’ privacy. The company scans the content of surfers’ Web traffic. It helps ISPs serve targeted ads. Six ISPs that used NebuAd are also being sued.

Mozilla patches critical Firefox flaws
Mozilla has patched a bevy of vulnerabilities in Firefox. Of the flaws, six are rated critical. Most can be used to insert malicious code. Firefox should install the updates automatically.

Speech search comes to iPhone

Google still tops in search
Google’s share of the search market grew to 71.7 percent last month. That’s up from 64.5 percent in October 2007. Google’s growth comes at the expense of Yahoo! and Microsoft.
