| | | | | | | Google Apps launches partner program | Colin Steele, Site Editor Google, the online search king, is warming up to the channel. Today the company announced a partner program for solutions providers to sell Google Apps, its hosted suite of productivity and communications software, which includes Gmail and Google Docs. Participants in the Google Apps Reseller Program will get a 20% discount and sales and marketing tools for selling Google Apps Premier Edition. Google will continue to sell the hosted applications direct as well, but the direct sales team will get incentives to work with partners. And resellers that have worked with Google in the past say the company will be a strong vendor in the channel.
