Google Chrome OS gains credibility with VMware

VMware plans to virtualize Google's Chrome OS once it becomes available in the second half of 2010, and VARs agree that this would be a blessed union.

The demand for non-Windows platforms is increasing, and solutions providers are receiving constant inquiries into Google options.

Both VMware and Google have much to gain from virtualizing Chrome and VARs say that Microsoft has many reasons for concern.
