Website sound problems fixed, lesson on cutting & pasting

Even if I can't always get back to everyone personally, I always appreciate it when people take the time to write me a note in response to one of my computer lesson newsletters.

But in the last couple of days I've had a few *very* helpful emails from some subscribers.

It seems that some people have been having a problem playing some of the audio lessons on my site, and I had no idea!

Everything was working perfectly when I checked with my own computers, but after some experimentation (I ended up setting up a computer as if it were new, and it was the only one that had the problem) it turned out to be thanks to Adobe coming out with a new version of the Flash Player, which is what I use for my audio and video lessons (the same technology used by YouTube and many many other sites).

The update "broke" parts of my website for those people with the latest (and supposedly greatest) version of Flash Player. I spent much of Sunday afternoon wading through my site fixing the audio lessons one by one so they'd work again.

Anyway, if you were having a problem, you should be able to listen to the lessons now -- it should work now as long as you have the free Adobe Flash Player installed.

If it still doesn't work, try downloading and installing the Flash Player at http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
