If you're looking for a job, don't take chances. When you e-mail a résumé, make sure to send it to the correct person. Of course, you can't be certain that your message will be received at all. It could be flagged as spam if you're not careful. Many spam filters look for certain words. You could easily use one of these words in your résumé or cover letter.
